RBMA has us bugging out every spring and this year is no different!
They’re teaming up with Park Avenue Armory to present the world premiere of Anohni’s live show for her new album Hopelessness. The two night stint will feature original films, a fitting industrial setting and a band that very casually includes our indie favorite Oneohtrix Point Never.
We’ve loved Anohni since her haunting work in Antony and the Johnsons and her flooring contributions to the Hercules & Love Affair project, establishing herself as one of the fiercest vocalists in our book!WHEN: Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 | Thursday, May 19th, 2016DOORS: 9PMWHERE: Park Avenue Armory // 643 Park Avenue, NY
ACTRESS // TRANS-PECOSREAD MORE
Actress is taking over Trans-Pecos!
The England-based producer has given us some of the least predictable, categorization-defying electronic dance music of the 2000s. Since debuting in 2004 with the No Tricks 12″ on his own Werk Discs label, Cunningham has juggled a diverse array of inspirations — including early-’80s funk and electro, art rock, raw and classicist house, and noise — while putting a fresh, challenging spin on them.
We’re bringing him to Trans-Pecos on May 20th for a special night of expansive music and a nonstop dance floor.WHEN: Friday, May 20th, 2016DOORS: 9PM // All AgesWHERE: Trans-Pecos // 9-15 Wyckoff Avenue

Building on the formidable foundation he established with 2012’s “Ghettos & Gardens”, Justin invites listeners on a high-flying journey through a rich musical landscape. His effervescent personality shines through on this project – and we can’t wait to help bring that to life in Brooklyn this May with an industrial album release party!

JEREMY GARA (ARCADE FIRE) // TRANS-PECOSREAD MORE
With Arcade Fire on a well-deserved respite, the band’s members have kept busy with various side projects.
Drummer Jeremy Gara has just released his debut album as a solo artist and we’re coming to Trans-Pecos to help him showcase it! “Limm” sees Gara putting down the percussion and taking an ambient detour.
Though Gara produced and recorded the album himself while on the road with Arcade Fire, his mainstay outfit’s sound is not much reflected on this solo effort. Instead, the album is a collection of melodic, dense, and noisy ambient songs that will be a treat to experience live!WHEN: Sunday, May 22th, 2016DOORS: 8PM // All AgesWHERE: Trans-Pecos // 9-15 Wyckoff Avenue
