Vibes will reach a critical mass on August 10th when two NY-based talents hit House of Yes: Jim-E Stack and The Range bring their inspiring and ethereal electronic sounds to Brooklyn!
Jim-E Stack and The Range have a lot in common, both have made their home in NYC, cite the club sounds of Baltimore and the underground as early inspirations, and both have honed their skills entering new sonic territory in recent releases. Abstract drum arrangements, bright synth sequences and vibey vocal contortions are a staple in each producers sound. Jim-E Stack’s full length “Tell Me I Belong” showcases his sampling talents and versatility. The Range’s releases on Domino pull from multiple vocalists and built into complex melodies. The two recently collaborated on a single “With You” and their personal connection should make for an amazing night of music.
